Welcome Back From The Holidays!
Welcome back from the two week break. In Social Studies our class will be studying about maps and globes. Students will define the terms "map," "globe," "symbol," "cardinal directions," and "map legend". Students will identify the physical shpe of the United States and Virginia on maps and globes. Students will use cardinal directions (east, west, north, south) on simple maps.

We want to wish everyone a Happy Birthday. School Policy is that cupcakes may be shared only at lunch time. You may bring the cupcakes at your child's lunch time 11:00-11:30 or leave the treat in the office. Someone from the office will bring your child's treat to the cafeteria.
